J.W. Scott Wallace, M.D., F.A.P.A.
Dr. Wallace earned his B.A. from Wake Forest University and his M.D. from the West Virginia University School of Medicine. He completed his General Psychiatry residency training at West Virginia University School of Medicine, Charleston Division.
Dr. Wallace is past president of the Medical Staff of Charter Pines Hospital and past Chief of Psychiatry and Co-Director of the Eating Disorders Program at Presbyterian Hospital.
Dr. Wallace is board certified in General Psychiatry and is a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. He is a member of the American Association of Physicians and Surgeons, the North Carolina Psychiatric Association, the North Carolina Medical Society, and the Mecklenburg County Medical Society.
Dr. Wallace joined Eastover Psychiatric Group in 1987. He has been named one of Charlotte's Top Doctors and has made numerous media appearances over the years. Dr. Wallace specializes in general adult and adolescent psychiatry with a special interest in Eating Disorders.
